Taco Soup
Taco Soup-

2 pounds of lean Hamburger or ground turkey
2 Cans of Low Sodium Black Beans (do not drain)
2 Cans of Low Sodium Kidney Beans (do not drain)
2 Cans of Low Sodium Diced Tomatos (do not drain)
1 Packets of Low Sodium Taco Seasoning
1 large Jar of Pace Picante Salsa
Shredded Cheese*
Sour Cream*
Bag of Tortilla Chips*
Avocado Slices*


Directions: Cook Hamburger or Ground Turkey on stove, drain. In a slow cooker add the 4 cans of beans, 2 cans of tomatoes,
taco seasoning, hamburger and the jar of salsa. Cook on low all day, than serve and eat!

For low fat and low calories: serve only the taco soup as is or over a salad.

*Note: Avocado is a great addition to the soup. You may add cheese, but use sparingly. For those in your family who
like the extra goodies, they can use the chips, sour cream and cheese. Just place chips in the bowl, top with taco soup,
cheese and sour cream.
